Transcripts

A transcript is the official record of a student’s courses, grades and academic progress. Transcripts are often required when applying to colleges, universities, scholarship programs, or other organizations that need proof of academic history.

Transcripts do not include standardized test scores and the district does not rank students.

Official Transcripts

Transcripts can only be sent once a parent or guardian has completed the Diploma and Transcript Authorization Form. Colleges require your senior-year schedule on the initial transcript. These classes will be included only after schedule adjustments are completed, typically within the first three days of the school year.

  • Common App: Transcripts for the Common App will be sent by your designated counselor.
  • Direct to Institution (Xello): Transcripts will be sent at the end of September.
  • Common App via Xello: Transcripts will be sent once the School Profile is complete.

Per district policy, official copies of transcripts are not provided directly to students or parents.

Requesting Transcripts in Xello

  • Log into Xello through ClassLink
  • From your dashboard, click on College Planning in the upper right hand corner.
  • Under College Applications, select the institution to which you would like your transcript sent.
  • Under Application Checklist, locate Transcript. To the right, click Request. A banner at the top of the screen will indicate the request was sent.

Some colleges require mailed transcripts. Check deadlines carefully and submit requests early.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed and downloaded through the StudentVue/ParentVue app. Please note that this unofficial report of progress toward graduation requirements has limitations. It does not automatically account for repeated classes or for courses that may fulfill more than one content area, such as a class that counts toward either fine arts or computer technology. Counselors are the best resource for verifying the accuracy of this report.
